Do not grab the blind person. Do not grab the blind person's cane. That is really rude.

And I totally agree on the "waving to cross" thing.

When You are driving and Stopped at a stop sign, don't wave a blind person on to cross. They cannot see you waving. They will wait until you go and then they will cross the street safely.

One of my Twitter followers said the same thing Lou; he walks-through the drive-through some times instead of using the regular walk-up. Once someone honked their horn at him but he said he didn't care and ignored it and never had any other problem. Hope you didn't burn your fingers on the coffee cup lid Lou. Have a great day and thanks for contributing your comment.

I've been know to walk up to the drive-up ATMs. Also, I liked some of the McDonalds beverage lids with braille on them. One of the dumbest things I ever did was to check out the braille on those thin lids on a cup of coffee. I'm not sure who was smarter--the cup designers or me.

Yeah I've seen a ton of jokes online about why drive-up ATM's have braille on them Bobbie but there's actually a legitimate reason for it. All ATM's are manufactured the same whether they end up being placed in a drive-through lane or near the front door of a bank. It's more cost-effective for manufacturers to build one type of ATM rather than two so that's why we end up with braille characters on drive-up ATM machines. It's still pretty funny though :). Thanks for commenting Bobbie!

Ah, the good old DMV. They are obviously only posting Braille on the signs to staty compliant with the ADA because if they really cared they'd have to realize no one can reach the signs in the first place.

I loved these comments. In my office building there are signs on the restroom doors and plates near the elevators. The only problem is that they were installed upside down. When someone asked me why I was reading with my hands at such a strange angle I explained the problem. I reported it to the building engineers and it was promptly fixed so now I can read the signs. Now even the print is readable by touch.
